Full-Time On-site
Bleckfield Ltd

About us Bleckfield is a managed IT provider supporting care groups, care homes and businesses across the UK. That includes several hundred care homes, where reliable IT directly supports the people who care for residents every day. We're growing fast and need someone to own the build and deployment of every new laptop, desktop, tablet and phone we send out. The role You'll be the person who turns a box of new kit into a device that's ready to use the moment it arrives at a care home or office. You'll work from our Leatherhead office, taking build requests from our helpdesk, preparing devices to our standard, keeping our records right and getting kit out of the door on time. What you'll do Windows builds: build and prepare Windows laptops, desktops and 2-in-1s using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune, checking each one enrols, installs its apps and passes our checks before it ships. Phones and tablets: set up Android tablets and phones and iPhones/iPads in Intune. Many of these are care-home tablets locked down to specific care apps. Returned devices: wipe, reset and redeploy them, including removing old Apple IDs and account locks. Asset records: asset-tag every device and record it accurately in our documentation system: serial number, model, user, location and PIN or access details. Management tools: check devices appear correctly in our remote management and remote support tools, named to our standard. Tickets: work build and procurement tickets in our helpdesk system, keeping customers and colleagues updated with clear, friendly notes and emails. Stock and shipping: book in deliveries, check stock against orders and arrange couriers and returns. Standards: spot problems early (a device that won't enrol, missing stock, wrong spec). Process: help us improve the build process and keep the step-by-step guides up to date. What we're looking for Some hands-on experience building or supporting Windows PCs, from a job, apprenticeship, college course or serious home interest. Comfortable with Microsoft 365, and ideally some exposure to Intune, Autopilot or similar device management. We'll train you on our tools. Methodical and accurate: you're happy to follow a checklist and you care about getting the details right every time. Organised enough to juggle several builds and deadlines at once. Clear, polite communication, by email and on the phone, with non-technical people. Nice to have Experience with Android Enterprise or Apple Business Manager. CompTIA A+, Microsoft MD-102, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or similar (or willingness to work towards them) Experience in an IT support or MSP environment.
