This is a founding hire. You'll own product and operations across the business, working directly with the CEO to shape how Blckbx runs and what we build next. You'll sit between the assistant team, front and back of house, engineering, and marketing. You'll design how our workflows should run, automate what shouldn't need a human, brief the engineers on what to build, own the customer product experience, and make sure marketing is telling the right story about the right features. You'll hold the team accountable to delivery and make sure everything we build connects back to revenue.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and automating workflows across the business.
  • Sitting with the engineers and telling them what to build and why.
  • Owning the customer product experience and how it shows up in the app.
  • Partnering with marketing on which features to lead with and how to position them.
  • Keeping the team accountable to what we said we'd ship.
  • Working with the CEO on whatever needs unblocking.

Who you probably are right now:

You're two to four years into your career doing something adjacent. Maybe a graduate scheme at a big tech company, a junior PM or business analyst role at a SaaS business, a stint in consulting, or you've been the operations fixer at another startup. You might not have 'Product Manager' in your title yet, and that's fine.

What matters is this. You're a fixer. When something's broken you don't wait around, you sort it. You're commercially sharp and can connect a feature to a number. You understand tech well enough to brief an engineer, even if you don't write code yourself. You think in systems and you're great at creative problem solving. You're self-motivated to the point where it's almost a personality trait. And you want to learn product properly, with a fast path to running it.

What you get:

£40k - 50k base, meaningful equity (this is a founding hire), direct mentorship from the CEO, and a realistic path to Head of Product in 18 to 24 months.

How to apply:

Email hello@blckbx.co.uk with your CV and a short note (three or four sentences is plenty) telling us about something you fixed that nobody asked you to fix.
