We are now looking for a Project Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This role will involve regular travel to customer sites across the UK and occasional days in St Neots near Cambridge, depending on project requirements. You will likely be on-site three to four days per week.

As our Project Manager, you will take full ownership of delivering fire detection and suppression system projects from start to finish, in a high-impact role. Working at the heart of operational delivery, you will manage projects at every stage of implementation, co-ordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers across high-risk, mission-critical environments. You will be the main point of contact on site, leading site activity and ensuring programmes, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently met.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams
- Prepare and maintain project documentation
- Oversee installation, commissioning, snagging and quality inspections
- Support procurement, material allocation and management of variations
- Produce regular progress reports and maintain accurate records and risk registers
About You
To be considered as our Project Manager, you will need:
- At least two years proven experience in construction and project management
- Experience delivering multi-stakeholder technical projects
- A proven track record of progressing from site-based roles into project management
- Experience with M&E, and ideally fire systems, electrical or controls-based environments
- An understanding of RAMS, technical documentation and installation workflow
- An understanding of control systems and installation processes
