We are seeking a Prototype Assembly Operator to support the development and assembly of supply prototypes used in ink delivery systems. This role involves operating assembly equipment, performing hand assembly tasks, tracking materials and inventory, and supporting packaging activities in a manufacturing/prototyping environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate assembly tools and equipment used for prototype supply/cartridge production.
  • Assemble prototype components, including ink delivery cartridge systems.
  • Perform hand assembly and support prototype build activities.
  • Track, log, and record materials, inventory, and production data accurately.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting activities, including restarting or rebooting PCs connected to manufacturing equipment.
  • Package finished products according to defined packaging procedures, including:
    • Bubble wrapping components
    • Packing items into carton boxes
    • Taping and labeling cartons
    • Palletizing and shrink/stretch wrapping shipments
  • Ensure workstations and materials are organized and maintained properly.
  • Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times.

Work Environment

Manufacturing / prototype lab environment. Combination of machine operation, manual assembly, and packaging activities.
