An impressively expanding Print on Demand Business in the City of London seeks an experienced and motivated Branch / General Manager with comprehensive small and large format digital print and reprographics experience, to lead a dynamic team in managing and developing a large array of Blue Chip and Corporate Client requirements as they continue to expand their reach and service offering.
Responsible for all day-to-day operational demands of the Business, you will lead a dynamic and committed team of Account Managers and Production staff, with a remit to maximise current opportunities within their Central London Client network. You must have proven experience in a fast-paced, high quality, reprographics and small and large format digital/litho print environment, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, a strong commercial and numerical acumen, ideally combined with practical large format print production and finishing experience.
You will be a naturally enthusiastic, confident, communicative personality, demonstrating an obvious ability to interact very effectively with Staff and Clients in order to manage a significant array of incoming enquiries and customer requests, positioning the Business to further deliver an outstanding service and maximising their ability to secure the associated Design, Reprographics and Print Sales opportunities.
Key challenges:
- Bringing the diversity of professional experience to drive this Print on Demand business forward through the next exciting phases of its evolution, which requires commercial intelligence, a 'front foot' Client engagement/development mindset, combined with the operational experience to manage all day-to-day aspects and running of the Business.
- The maturity and professional empathy to manage the implementation of this role, engaging, mentoring and developing existing key staff.
- Sharing a cultural connection with the Managing Director, demonstrating a shared energy, dynamism, hunger and skillset to continue to grow the Business, developing their offering and gaining wider market opportunities in the City of London and the surrounding area.
Experience Required:
- Practical experience across the diversity of Print, including Litho, Small and Large format digital reprographics and Branded merchandise.
- Proven experience of leading, managing and mentoring a small Client Services and/or Production team.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a proven ability to manage the numbers including Sales performance and margin, Supplier negotiation and Operational business costs.
- Vibrant personality, accustomed to engaging with Clients and going the extra mile to deliver outstanding service.
- Sales focused, but with disciplined Business and personnel management skills.
- Possessing the skills and preparedness to muck in as part of a focused team that's dedicated to going beyond Customers' expectations.
