An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the South East's most successful residential developers on a flagship project in South East London.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will take the commercial lead on a landmark £150m, 350-unit RC frame residential development, overseeing all commercial activities from procurement through to final account. This is a high-profile scheme that forms part of a substantial pipeline of future developments, offering genuine long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial management of a major residential development.
  • Manage procurement, subcontractor packages, valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Produce accurate cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Work closely with operational teams to drive project performance and profitability.
  • Manage risk, opportunities and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Support and mentor junior commercial team members where required.
Requirements
  • Proven track record operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on large-scale residential developments.
  • Strong experience delivering RC frame housing schemes.
  • Excellent commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing high-value subcontract packages and complex project finances.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Stable employment history with recognised main contractors or residential developers.
