I’m working with a leading contractor looking to appoint a Bid Manager to join their London team, supporting a strong pipeline of secured and framework opportunities across the capital and wider South East.
This is a key hire where you’ll take ownership of strategically important bids, leading them from early engagement through to submission and client interview.
I’m particularly keen to speak with candidates from a main contractor background, ideally with experience delivering framework bids and negotiated workstreams.
The role: You’ll be leading and managing complex bids across a range of sectors, working closely with pre-construction, operational teams and the supply chain to shape winning strategies and high-quality submissions. From developing win themes and managing bid programmes, through to coordinating technical input, risk management and leading client presentations – you’ll be at the centre of the entire bid lifecycle.
Key experience:
- Main contractor background is essential
- Strong experience working on frameworks and negotiated opportunities
- Proven track record delivering high-value or complex construction bids
- Excellent understanding of procurement routes and bid processes
- Strong technical understanding of construction methodology (building or civils)
