Associate Consultant – London Construction, Monument, London | Blayze Group

Blayze are looking for an Associate Consultant to join our established London business, working directly alongside one of our experienced Directors to continue to develop and grow a successful construction recruitment division.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some initial recruitment experience who wants greater exposure to clients, candidates and the commercial side of recruitment, with the support and mentorship to develop quickly.

The Role

You will work closely with a Director who has an established network and extensive experience across the London construction market.

Initially, your focus will be on identifying, engaging and managing high-calibre candidates for our key clients. As your market knowledge and confidence develop, you will gain increasing exposure to client relationships, business development and managing your own recruitment processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and engaging high-calibre construction professionals across the London market
  • Building and maintaining strong candidate relationships
  • Developing a detailed understanding of your specialist market
  • Managing candidates throughout the recruitment and interview process
  • Attending client meetings alongside a Director
  • Supporting the development of existing key accounts
  • Identifying new client and business development opportunities
  • Building your own professional network and personal brand
  • Progressing towards managing your own clients and recruitment desk

What We’re Looking For

At Blayze, we recruit as much for potential, attitude and ambition as we do for experience.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Ambitious and motivated to build a successful career in recruitment
  • Commercially minded and naturally interested in people and business
  • Confident communicating with senior candidates and clients
  • Professional and well presented
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Resilient and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
  • Detail focused with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, energetic and keen to learn

Who Should Apply?

Ideally, you will have 6+ months' experience within recruitment and be looking for an environment where you can accelerate your development. You may currently be working as a Resourcer, Associate Consultant or Recruitment Consultant and feel ready for greater responsibility, stronger mentorship and more direct client exposure. Construction or property recruitment experience would be beneficial but is not essential. We are more interested in your ambition, commercial potential and ability to build relationships.

Why Join Blayze?

  • Work directly with a high performing, experienced Director and learn from someone with an established London network
  • Join an established business with over 20 years' experience across the built environment
  • Work with existing key construction clients while developing new relationships
  • Receive structured training, coaching and ongoing mentorship
  • Attend client meetings and gain early exposure to senior decision-makers
  • Develop from candidate management into a 270 account role
  • Clear and achievable career progression based on performance
  • Competitive salary and uncapped earning potential
  • Collaborative, high-performing environment where success is recognised
  • Modern London office based in Monument, in the heart of the City

If you are ambitious, commercially minded and want to build a successful long-term career in recruitment, we would like to hear from you.
