An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Manager to join a leading residential development business delivering large-scale, high-profile regeneration schemes across East London and Essex. This role offers genuine exposure across both front-end development and live delivery, within a high-performing and well-structured development division that provides clear progression toward Senior Development Manager level.
Current Portfolio
You will play a key role across multiple major residential-led regeneration schemes, ranging from early-stage feasibility and planning through to live delivery and final phases. This is a rare opportunity to gain exposure across projects at every stage of the development lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities
- Planning – Planning strategy, consultant management and securing approvals
- Financials – Financial appraisals, valuations, cash flows and forecasting
- Legals – Contracts, legal documentation and joint venture structures
- Project Management – Liaising with internal teams, JV partners, stakeholders, Housing Associations and Local Authorities
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience at Development Manager level
- Background in private residential development preferred (strong Housing Association candidates considered)
- Commercially astute with strong financial and legal capability
- Ambitious and ready to progress toward Senior Development Manager level
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Working Pattern
Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office, 1 day from home, 1 day on site. Supportive leadership team with a strong culture and structured progression.
