Salary up to £75,000 + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading design and build contractor based near Bournemouth who is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the business. The company has built a reputation for successfully delivering projects across the MoD, Education, Social Housing and Commercial sectors with project values ranging from £1M to £20M. With a full order book they are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

You will provide commercial support to the project manager and be responsible for all commercial aspects of projects, ensuring that financial performance meets or exceeds profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue standard contract documents.
  • Preparation of Contract letters and associated documentation to the client, including claims for additional cost, EOT etc.
  • With the assistance of the project manager prepare detailed scope of works for sub-contractors to price.
  • Run pre-let contract meetings with sub-contractors.
  • Valuation of sub-contractors' work.
