Contracts Manager

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: Up to £100,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Mileage


Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading cladding remediation and faade refurbishment contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager.


The company has an excellent reputation for delivering complex, multi-million-pound projects across London and the South East, with typical values ranging from £5m to £20m.


This is a strong opportunity for a commercially aware Contracts Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple live projects, working closely with senior management, commercial, design, health & safety and site teams.


The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee several cladding remediation and regeneration projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.


Key duties will include:

Managing multiple live construction projects

Leading Project Managers and senior site teams

Monitoring programmes, resources, budgets and project risks

Ensuring compliance with health & safety, CDM and company procedures

Supporting quality control through inspections and audits

Working with commercial teams on costs, forecasts, CVRs and profitability

Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, residents and stakeholders

Producing regular project reports and updates


You should have:

Cladding or facades experience

Experience managing multiple construction projects

Strong contract management and commercial awareness

CSCS Black Card

Site Management Health & Safety qualification

Good understanding of CDM Regulations

Experience using ASTA or Microsoft Project

Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Additional qualifications such as Asbestos Awareness, Scaffold Inspection, First Aid or Enhanced DBS clearance would be beneficial.
