The company is a leading refurbishment contractor and is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its dynamic team in Verwood. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate the cost of refurbishment projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather quotations and negotiate prices.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and ensure that estimates are within budgetary constraints.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals.
- Provide support to the project management team throughout the lifecycle of projects.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and materials to ensure the best value is achieved for each project.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the refurbishment industry (residential, healthcare, education, or commercial sectors).
