Blaymires Recruitment is representing an established residential developer who is searching for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The company is based near Winchester and delivers high-quality construction and refurbishment projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, with projects ranging up to the value of £20M.
They are looking for a motivated individual with around 2-4 years experience, currently operating as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Buyer, who is keen to step up into a broader in-house development position with real responsibility.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and senior team, you will support the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account:
- Supporting procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Preparing interim applications and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and reporting variations
- Supporting contract administration and commercial reporting
Requirements:
- 2-4 years experience in a Quantity Surveying or buying role
- Background working within construction or development
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or working towards)
