Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading commercial main contractor based near Southampton who is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team.

This well-established contractor delivers a wide range of refurbishment and new build projects across the UK. Their portfolio includes industrial units, schools, car showrooms, and healthcare schemes, with values typically ranging from £1.5M to £6M.

As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple projects, supporting site teams and liaising with clients to ensure works are planned, resourced, programmed, and delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your initial focus will be managing the £6M new build medical centre in Buckingham, due for completion in July 2026, while also overseeing several smaller projects.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Contracts Management.
  • Proven track record delivering new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Experience in motor retail, healthcare, or care home sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management and Health & Safety compliance.
  • Experience across groundworks, steel frame, external, and internal works.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate site teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
