Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading Surveying and Consultancy practice based near Southampton, Hampshire, which is seeking a Partner to lead and support their Building Surveying department.
The consultancy works closely with clients to assess and manage cladding combustibility risk, building defects, and remedial issues.
Their client base includes social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums, and management companies.
They are now looking for a Partner to lead and support the existing Building Surveying team.

This role would suit an existing Partner or Director as well as a motivated Managing Building Surveyor or Associate Building Surveyor looking to step up.
Role Overview
- Lead a wide range of Building Surveying projects across the commercial and residential sectors.
- Manage and develop client accounts and framework agreements.
- Oversee and mentor a team of surveyors and graduates, ensuring high-quality technical delivery.
- Support the Regional Director with business development and team management.
- Contribute to internal quality assurance and best practice initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth and business planning.
Requirements
- Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).
- Proven experience delivering commercial and/or residential projects.
- Strong leadership or team management background.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and business development skills.
- Based within commuting distance of Southampton.
