Blaymires Recruitment is working with an established and well-respected multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy based in Bromley, who are seeking a Building Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Building Surveyor who is looking to step up in responsibility, project size and client exposure within a supportive consultancy environment. The role would suit a Building Surveyor currently operating at mid-level, or a confident Assistant Building Surveyor ready to take the next step.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a full range of building surveying services across public and private sector projects
- Undertake condition surveys, defects analysis, dilapidations and technical reports
- Assist with and manage contract administration and project delivery
- Support senior team members on larger and more complex projects, while managing your own workload
- Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered successfully
- Contribute to the continued development of client relationships and internal processes
- Degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- 25+ years experience within a consultancy or similar professional environment
- Working towards MRICS or keen to begin/continue the pathway
- Confident, professional and comfortable in a client-facing role
- Motivated to take on greater responsibility and autonomy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Salary range £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
