$26.41 - $36.32 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
Troubleshoots and repairs all types of equipment from heavy construction to light support equipment and work tools. Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspects equipment for defects. Responsible for small welding and fabricating tasks required on equipment coming through shop. Able to complete tasks with minimal direction.
STEP INTO THE ROLE
Assists supervisors and co-workers with a variety of mechanic and related tasks as necessary. Mechanical and fabrication knowledge usually obtained through a 2-year post-secondary degree or equivalent combinations of training and/or related experience. Ability to obtain Hazmat with tanker endorsement.
