A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Troubleshoots and repairs all types of equipment from heavy construction to light support equipment and work tools.
- Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspects equipment for defects.
- Responsible for small welding and fabricating tasks required on equipment coming through the shop.
- Able to complete tasks with minimal direction.

- Assists supervisors and co-workers with a variety of mechanic and related tasks as necessary.
- Highly aware of safety precautions, policies, and procedures and is able to assist management in maintaining a safe work environment.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Mechanical and fabrication knowledge usually obtained through a 2 yr. post-secondary degree or equivalent combinations of training and/or related experience.
- One to three years of knowledge of maintenance procedures and tooling obtained through previous work experience in mechanic and light welding.

- Ability to obtain Hazmat with tanker endorsement.
