Permanent 22.5 hrs per week, term‑time only (work 39 weeks/paid 45.05 weeks). NJC/LGA 4A SCP 9‑10 actual salary range £14,358 – £14,590 p/a. Full‑time salary £27,254 – £27,694 p/a. For the right candidate we can be flexible with hours per week or weeks per year. Required ASAP.

We seek a creative and solution‑orientated individual to join the Administration Team at Blatchington Mill School. This is a key role in a busy organisation, working with the Senior Admin Officer and several colleagues in the Admin Hub and Student Services. The duties are varied and interesting. The successful candidate will work with all groups across the school to support teaching and learning and the smooth running of this dynamic organisation. Blatchington Mill is a large, successful school and this team is central to its smooth operation.

A key focus for this role will be Student Services with the inputting and maintenance of registers in support of the whole school priority of improving attendance. The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail and will be instrumental in safeguarding. Other responsibilities may include:

  • School home communications
  • Management of appointments
  • General student‑related administration
