Our Patient Solutions Team are proud to provide the wheelchair service on behalf of the NHS in Derbyshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Stores Operative to join our team.

The role:

  • Process orders received, by allocating from existing stock or purchase of new stock to meet the key performance indicators of the department.
  • Receive goods or services on behalf of the company.
  • Check all received goods for correctness to quantity, description, weight, volume, or company.
  • Process orders received from Clinical and Field Service Engineers.
  • Support stock management, including items returned to the depot.
  • Prepare stock for booked clinical handovers and/or Field Service Engineer jobs.
  • Liaise with the suppliers and internal departments over any queries that may arise from those deliveries.
  • Carry out administrative duties as deemed necessary by the Goods In/Receiving function and all basic stock control requirements.
  • Undertake all kitting requirements for Job Orders.
  • Build required assembly levels of product.
  • Participate in Stock Checks.
  • Undertake driving duties as required.
  • Operate the forklift truck (if licensed) or any other mechanical/electrical equipment as deemed necessary.

  • GCSE, or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
  • Flexible and adaptable
