We have an exciting opportunity for a Prosthetic Technician Lead to manage an existing team of Technicians.
The role involves overseeing the day-to-day management of the workshop to ensure safe, effective production, repair and maintenance of prostheses. Key duties include:
- Managing the technicians, ensuring that PDRs are carried out and effective training plans developed.
- Assisting the operational team in all areas of production control, workload planning, Work in progress (WIP) and output.
- Assisting with aspects of local inventory controls and processes, including purchasing, stock replenishment, audits, receipts/despatches and security in conjunction with the operation team.
- Overseeing ISO procedures, Quality Assurance and Health & Safety requirements in conjunction with the Operations Lead.
- Organising the workshop to achieve the best level of production output.
- Gathering and retaining information for use in Management reports as requested.
