Blatchford Clinic is a private prosthetic and orthotic clinical service provider. Most of our clients have undergone complex trauma resulting in life changing injuries. Our aim is to provide a high level of service combined with the most advanced devices to restore our clients, as far as possible, to their pre-injury level of mobility. Working closely with legal professionals, case managers and insurers we provide expert witness services, initial needs assessments and bespoke treatment packages.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Blatchford Private Clinic team in Sheffield on a part time basis, for two days per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. As Physiotherapist, you will work as part of the MDT to provide appropriate physiotherapy interventions to privately funded clients to aid their rehabilitation following amputation and/or significant orthotic intervention.
The role
- Assessing, implementing and monitoring individual rehabilitation plans for our clients
- Working with clients and their carers to develop and deliver progressive rehabilitation programmes
- Maintaining excellent medical notes which demonstrate outcomes and development
- Representing the clinic at events nationwide.
What are we looking for?
As a Physiotherapist you will have the following:
- Degree qualified in Physiotherapy, or equivalent.
- HCPC registration
- BACPAR membership (desirable)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Positive approach, ability to motivate others
- Well-developed computer skills
- Prioritisation skills
- Decision making and organisational skills
- Ability to relate to colleagues, clients, and other members of MDT
