We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Administrator/Receptionist to join our small administrative team.
The role:
- Assist the Prosthetists, Orthotists and Department Managers in the provision of prostheses, orthoses and associated equipment to service users.
- Support the reception team to carry out patient facing duties.
- Respond to telephone, email and in-person enquiries in a confidential, professional, and helpful manner.
- Book appointments and patients into the appropriate clinics.
- Liaise with transport providers to book patient transport.
- Provide and receive confidential client-sensitive information to/from statutory and non-statutory bodies.
- Liaise with the Prosthetists, Orthotists, NHS colleagues to ensure a quality service is provided.
- Triaging patient telephone calls and managing the requests in an auditable and efficient manner.
- Ensure all goods received for the service are processed in a timely fashion, any action required is administered.
- Monitor outstanding goods and collections, updating reports.
- Assist in management reports and data collection, including 18wk referral pathway in line with KPI target.
- Provide excellent customer care and always demonstrate positive and professional behaviour.
