Working in partnership with the NHS, Blatchford provides the orthotic service across South Cumbria. We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Orthotist to support our clinics across the region. Your key focus will be on our clinic in Carlisle along with providing additional support to several satellite clinics across the region.

As a Graduate Orthotist, you will use your clinical skill and experience to contribute to the delivery of a first-class Orthotic Clinical Service. We are seeking a Graduate Orthotist with broad-based experience who is looking for an opportunity to develop and contribute.

  • Providing counselling, advice, and support as necessary to maximise rehabilitation potential and to ensure understanding of condition.
  • Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing, and adjusting orthoses as required.
  • Maintaining appropriate clinical notes and records.
  • Providing training in the field of Orthotics at all levels.
  • Experience in a wide range of orthotic provision including paediatrics, orthopaedics, and footwear.
