You will provide training and supervision to students, less experienced colleagues, and customers in all aspects of the service.Key Responsibilities: – Leading clinically with complex cases – Training, mentoring, and supervising less experienced colleagues. – Providing guidance to the clinical team on the most appropriate clinical intervention. – Leading the orthotic team in outcome measurement including use of gait analysis equipment. – Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing, and adjusting orthoses as required. – Assisting with presentations, seminars, training, and education at all levels. – Working within the framework provided by the company to ensure cost effective product provision. – Taking part in clinical audit and clinical research, liaising with both clinical and technical employees.What are we looking for?Essential skills and experience – Qualified in Prosthetics and Orthotics – HCPC registration – Member of BAPO/ISPO (desirable) – Experience in a wide range of orthotic provision including paediatrics, orthopaedics, and footwear – Able to prioritise and manage your own workload and that of others – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of communicating with colleagues at all levels – Be able to manage difficult, challenging and sensitive situations – Good judgment and decision-making skillsINDBLATCHFORD
