Our Patient Solutions Team are proud to provide the wheelchair service on behalf of the NHS in Derbyshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Administrator to provide effective and efficient customer focused administration to the service.
The role
As Clinical Administrator, you will work as part of a small team to assist clinicians and technicians in the provision of wheelchairs and associated equipment to service users. You will perform all necessary administration activities to maintain and develop an efficient and effective service for the centre
Key duties.
- Providing a reception and triage services for service users at the centre.
- Communicate effectively with patients who have complex physical, mental health, learning and/or cognitive impairment needs in a way that respects their views, autonomy and culture.
- Responding to telephone, email and in-person enquiries in a confidential, professional and helpful manner
- Managing appointments including referrals and maintaining service user records
- Monitoring waiting lists and liaising with clinicians regarding clinic availability and appointments to maintain waiting times
- Checking and processing invoices for payment
- Ensuring all goods received for the service are processed in a timely and effective manner
- Taking minutes for team meetings, as requested.
