We have an exciting opportunity for a Centre Manager on a 12-month, fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
The role: As Centre Manager, you will be accountable for the safe, effective, and financially sustainable operation of the Centre, which includes an orthotic service across West Sussex. You will provide operational leadership, creating the conditions for clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care, while ensuring performance, governance, workforce and resources are effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning the end-to-end operational performance of the Centre, ensuring activity, productivity, access, and flow meet contractual requirements.
- Leading, managing and developing the Centre workforce, setting clear expectations and standards of performance.
- Ensuring robust clinical governance arrangements are in place and understood.
- Working in partnership with Clinical Leads to ensure compliance with governance frameworks, audits and quality standards.
- Owning financial performance of the Centre, including budgetary control, cost management and productivity.
- Ensuring activity and invoicing are accurate, timely and compliant with contract requirements.
- Actively manage resources to deliver value for money for the NHS and Blatchford.
- Acting as the primary operational point of contact for NHS commissioners and stakeholders.
- Ensuring contractual requirements, KPIs and reporting obligations are met.
- Leading and supporting service improvement initiatives aligned to UKPS programmes and project workstreams.
