We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to join our second operations team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Basingstoke.

This role is offered on a six-month, fixed-term contract. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

The role:

  • Finishing of metal components using a variety of equipment and techniques.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Hand finishing metal components.
  • Deburring components and completing secondary operations in cycle as required.
  • Monitoring the quality of components using a wide range of equipment.
  • Maintaining machines and equipment used including breaking down tooling and fixtures and cleaning equipment.
  • Completing production documentation, written and electronic.

What are we looking for?

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will have the following:

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience of using moving machinery.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understanding CMM reports.
  • Previous experience of using manual measuring equipment.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Excellent hand to eye co-ordination.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
  • Positive, flexible working attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
