We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to join our second operations team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art, manufacturing facility in Basingstoke.

This role is offered on a six-month, fixed-term contract.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

The role: As Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for the finishing of metal components using a variety of equipment and techniques.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Hand finishing metal components
  • Deburring components and completing secondary operations in cycle as required
  • Monitoring the quality of components using a wide range of equipment
  • Maintaining machines and equipment used including breaking down tooling and fixtures and cleaning equipment
  • Completing production documentation, written and electronic

As Manufacturing Technician, you will have the following:

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience of using moving machinery
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understanding CMM reports
  • Previous experience of using manual measuring equipment
  • Manual dexterity
  • Excellent hand to eye co-ordination
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Positive, flexible working attitude
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
