London – Field Technician (Building Surveys)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-condition inspections of structures to assess their condition before and after construction activities.
  • Capture detailed and accurate photos and videos during inspections to document structural conditions.
  • Organize, label, and file inspection records, including photos and videos, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and residents to explain the inspection process and address any questions or concerns.
  • Distribute notices of inspection to properties within the designated area as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company standards during all inspection activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager to support the department’s operations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction technology, civil engineering).
  • 0-2 years of experience in the construction/engineering industry.
  • Physically capable of performing fieldwork in various conditions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to project sites.
