The Team
BLAST is hiring a Media Rights Sales Executive to join our highâperforming commercial team. The role focuses on growing and supporting our global broadcast distribution footprint across an expanding portfolio of media rights and international broadcast partners. We're looking for someone highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fastâmoving environment. You'll ideally bring experience â or, if you're a recent graduate, a strong interest â in generating revenue through distributing entertainment or sports programming and managing TV or online client accounts internationally. You'll be a selfâstarter who can drive your own pipeline while working seamlessly with BLAST's internal distribution team to deliver great results for our partners.
Responsibilities
- Support the Media Rights unit across all sales, operations and administration
- Supervise and manage client accounts and relationships across all media
- Drive revenue from a portfolio of esports rights to meet and exceed sales targets
- Negotiate & close media deals across global markets
- Generate new opportunities/targets across TV, Online, Theatrical and Mobile
- Prepare and conceptualise all relevant sales material and support documentation
- Coordinate onboarding and implementation of new clients with BLAST's Account Executive
- Research and locate new targets and territories/markets for distribution
- Attend TV sales networking events as required
Requirements
- University degree
- Excellent people and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the sports, media and entertainment industry preferred
- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to details
- Understanding of YouTube platform and YouTube functionalities
- Experience at a sports rights holder/federation, agency or from within the esports industry preferred
- Understanding of the commercial esports landscape & its position in the broader media industry
