What you’ll do: You will be at the heart of the logistics operation, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods across site. From managing deliveries through the RIC Bay and maintaining accurate stock levels, to supporting wider logistics activities, you’ll ensure materials are where they need to be, when they’re needed. You’ll also monitor fuel stocks, assist customers with enquiries, uphold safety procedures, and contribute to a clean, well-organised stores environment while operating equipment such as forklifts and vehicles as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring accurate handling, storage, and distribution across site
  • Maintain and monitor stock levels (including fuel and chemicals), supporting stocktaking and inventory accuracy
  • Support wider logistics operations, ensuring compliance with safety systems and delivering excellent customer service

What you’ll bring:

We’re seeking someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and customers, and taking ownership of your responsibilities. A practical, can-do attitude is key, along with the flexibility to support different areas as needed.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills with a proactive, organised approach. Full UK driving licence (essential); experience with handling equipment or similar environments is advantageous.

Terms and Conditions

  • Basic Annual Income – £26,807 to £37,030, depending on experience
  • Working Hours – 37.9 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with every third Friday as a non-working day
  • Annual Holiday Entitlement – 25 days annual leave, 8 public holidays, 2.5 privilege holidays
  • Contract Duration – 12 month contract
  • No availability for flexible working
  • Security Clearance – The successful candidate will be required to undergo security clearance checks
