Blargoans Ltd is currently seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Recruitment Manager to join our busy team. This varied and rewarding position would suit someone who enjoys working with people, communicates professionally and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the Office Manager across a wide range of administrative and operational activities
  • Advertising vacancies, processing applications and arranging interviews
  • Supporting new starters with the relevant onboarding documentation
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Preparing and issuing contract documents
  • Assisting the Buyer with departmental activity and monthly reporting
  • Managing Blargoans employees and workers on‑site and off‑site on a daily basis
  • Reconciling weekly timesheets and using Sage 50 Payroll to process weekly payroll
  • Arranging travel requests when required
  • Updating and maintaining training records
  • Completing tasks in a timely manner and to a high level of accuracy
  • Resolving queries quickly and accurately

About you

  • Friendly, approachable and professional
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and Sage systems

Preferred qualifications and experience

  • Experience using Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in HR and payroll
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role

Hourly rate: £14–£18, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
