As our Senior Growth Associate, you'll report to the UK Real Estate Director and work closely with our Strategy, Store Delivery, and Design teams to shape our expansion strategy and accelerate growth across the UK and into new markets. This role blends strategy, real estate, and entrepreneurial business development â ideal for someone analytical, commercially minded, and who thrives in fastâgrowing environments. What You'll Own
- Expansion Strategist
Shape the plan: Partner directly with the Real Estate Director and leadership team to define Blank Street's real estate and market growth strategy in the UK and new markets.
Bring new ideas: Bring a fresh perspective on expansion and store form factors to achieve ambitious growth targets and create plans to achieve these.
Track and refine: Develop and enhance processes for site selection and postâopening performance tracking, ensuring new locations deliver strong returns and operational excellence. - Site Scout & Analyst
Explore and identify: Scout neighbourhoods in existing and new markets to uncover highâpotential locations aligned with our brand and customer base.
Research and evaluate: Conduct market analyses, blending dataâdriven insights with a deep understanding of local dynamics and customer behaviour.
Present the case: Prepare detailed site memos and recommendations for Real Estate Committee approval, providing the foundation for sound decisionâmaking. - Relationship Builder & Deal Maker
Negotiate effectively: Support and help drive negotiations to secure favourable terms that align with our business and operational goals.
Think creatively: Identify innovative real estate opportunities and partnerships that unlock growth potential.
Build relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships across internal teams and external partners, including landlords, brokers, and other key stakeholders. Be the face of Blank Street to the market, helping ensure we're a preferred and trusted brand.
Who We're Looking For
You have 2+ years of experience in a fastâpaced, highâperforming environment. Ideally in topâtier strategy consulting, private equity, or highâgrowth business development/expansion roles.
You bring an entrepreneurial spirit. Experience or strong interest in real estate, retail expansion, site strategy, or multiâlocation growth.
You understand and love the world of retail and F&B, and understand how location, brand, and customer experience come together to shape performance.
You have knowledge of major urban, suburban, and emerging retail markets and trends across the UK and are enthusiastic about exploring vibrant neighbourhoods and potential trade areas in new and existing markets, with flexibility to travel as needed.
You have an ability to interpret market data, financial metrics and have a sharp analytical mindset.
Excellent project management skills. You should be very organised and have the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership.
