The Company
Our client is a leading event production company delivering who deliver high end brand activations, exhibitions and live event experiences for global companies. They have a strong pedigree in technical delivery combined with innovation and creative design; they are going from strength to strength and now seek a Warehouse / Event Prep Technician to join their friendly team.
The role
This is a busy role based in the warehouse where you will assist with prepping, testing, cleaning and loading equipment for a variety of jobs as directed. You will ensure that kit lists are picked in a timely manner and that all items are working and clean / tidy ready for the job. Checking equipment back in after events and noting any shortages or damages will be key as well as loading and unloading. Some on-site support will be involved in setting up and load in/out of venues where required.
About you
We are seeking a confident and articulate Technician with some knowledge of Audio Visual equipment from a prep and testing point of view. You will have a flexible and adaptable attitude as well as good IT skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time. A UK manual driving license is required and any experience in Forklift usage is an added advantage. Due to the nature of the events industry there may be weekend work / longer hours and time off in lieu is offered.
