Exciting opportunity for a proactive Business Development Manager to join this friendly agency and drive new business across meetings, incentives, conferences & events.
The Company
This established agency delivers a range of venue sourcing, full event management and event support to a range of clients across a broad range of industry sectors. From conferences, to high end incentives as well as gala dinners and awards ceremonies they offer a high level of service and are proud to boast an incredible retention rate with their long standing clients.
The role
With ambitious growth plans our client is now seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue and bring in events business for the agency. You will develop a sales strategy; set your own KPIs and work towards an agreed annual revenue target. From identifying prospects, to building relationships and unearthing new briefs you will be supported by the operations team with proposals and pitching.
About you
With a proven background in corporate events from an agency, hotel or venue background you will understand the MICE market and be a natural hunter. Demonstrable capabilities in proactive new business is key here as is excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team. This is a hybrid role where you will be office based 2 – 3 days a week and the ability to work remotely the others although the expectation will be to be out seeing clients and also attending networking events as well.
