Proactive Business Development Manager – Events
West Midlands
Up to £50,000 + uncapped OTE
Super exciting opportunity for a strong BDM to join this successful team and lead the new business development across a range of events venues!
The company
We are proud to be representing these prestigious venues that host a range of live events from awards ceremonies, to conferences, product launches and galas for a broad range of clients! With a great culture, fantastic benefits and a fun and dynamic team this really is a brilliant place to work. We have an exciting new opportunity for a proven BDM to join their sales team and grow revenue and sales for the venue.
The role
As a proactive BDM you will be responsible for developing your own pipeline and working to set targets. From targeting decision makers to setting up meetings, and securing show arounds of the venue this is a role where you will be supported by the Sales Director but also be expected to work autonomously to achieve your goals. Whilst there are some inbound enquiries, this role is predominantly proactive and you will thrive on hitting KPIs and driving revenue.
About you
We are seeking a proactive new business hunter with a strong understanding of lead generation, working to targets and securing deals. Ideally you will also have an understanding of events – from conferences to awards shows and live large scale events you will be able to bring the venues alive and sell not only space but an experience and cross sell services to your clients. A proactive approach to generating your own leads, pitching and securing meetings as well as being happy to work to targets is key for this role. A proven track record in hitting sales targets is essential!
