The company
This full service production and AV company provide a range of services to their clients including audio, video and scenic build for both corporate and private clients. With a warehouse and workshop they deliver bespoke live event production and scenic solutions to a wide range of prestige live events across the UK! With a close knit team and relaxed working environment this is a great company to be a part of.
The role
We are now supporting this great company with the hire of a Lighting Technician to join their friendly team. This is a varied role where you will work on a wide range of live events including weddings, corporate events, high end private parties and brand activations. Delivering the highest quality technical solutions the role will include installation as well as operating lighting systems.
About you
A strong lighting bias, with an understanding of audio and video as well as general power and rigging is key as is the previous use of GrandMA, Avolites or Chamsys. Being able to find and repair / basic faults in equipment is key as is the ability to be able to communicate with stakeholders at varying levels. Ideally you will hold a driving licence and be comfortable with some evening and weekend work due to the nature of events – overtime is paid. Previous events experience is needed for this role.
