Superb opportunity for a new business Director to join a truly global agency who deliver cutting edge experiences, events and exhibitions for high profile clients!

The agency is a full service events and comms agency that works with well known global brands, predominantly in the healthcare and pharma sector, to deliver a range of events and experiences. From large scale congresses for 1000's to stand alone meetings for 500 delegates, they work worldwide in some fantastic destinations.

With a global reach, they are going from strength to strength and are now hiring for a New Business Development Director to support their ongoing growth strategy.

The role is highly autonomous yet collaborative. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities to drive revenue as well as the agency's global brand presence. This is a full 360 sales role where you will unearth leads, prospect and qualify opportunities, present credentials to clients, respond to RFPs, lead the pitch process and ultimately secure contracts. The role will involve working with internal and external stakeholders and pulling together winning pitch responses, with some travel to events to engage new contacts.

About you: A proven background in new business development within the events, exhibitions and production industry is key. Client industry knowledge within the pharmaceutical events or Life Sciences events/comms sector would be a huge advantage but is not essential. Experience of owning the sales cycle from start to finish, networking across industry events and securing new business for an agency is crucial.
