Fantastic new opportunity for an Event Operations Manager who has experience in the management of camping and glamping operations for events.
The company
With a pedigree in delivering large scale outdoor and public facing events, this team knows what they are doing when it comes to mass participation. Working within a well-known space, the events range from public festivals, outdoor events, and more! Due to a super busy schedule of events, we are now supporting with the hire of an Event Operations Manager to join their operations team and lead the camping and glamping operations across events.
The role
This is an exciting role where you will develop the camping and glamping operations across the events, ensuring operational efficiencies and processes across the team. There is a huge amount of stakeholder management as well as planning the campsites and glampsites through to completion. All aspects of site planning will be part of this role, from signage to infrastructure, power and temporary facilities, and working with all suppliers and contractors. Managing all health and safety as well as ensuring contractors adhere to these health & safety policies is key.
About you
We are looking for a strong level of experience within the large scale events industry working on major public, mass participation, or sporting events ideally within greenfield sites. Experience in managing campsites or glamping sites within a greenfield events setting is highly desirable. You thrive in a high-pressure environment and love working to tight deadlines within a team environment, with the ability to juggle many projects at once.
