Business Development Manager – Partnerships & Events. West Midlands. Up to £50,000 + uncapped OTE.
Super exciting opportunity for a strong BDM to join this successful team and lead the new business development across a range of events and partnerships.
The company
We are representing an exciting events organisation that hosts a range of live events from awards ceremonies to conferences, product launches and galas for a broad range of clients. They offer a great culture, fantastic benefits and a fun and dynamic team.
The role
As a proactive BDM you will be responsible for developing your own pipeline and working to set targets. From targeting decision makers to setting up meetings, through to nurturing the sales pipeline and securing deals; you will be supported by the Sales Director but also expected to work autonomously to achieve your goals. There are inbound enquiries, but the role is predominantly proactive and focused on hitting KPIs and driving revenue.
About you
We are seeking a proactive new business hunter with a strong understanding of lead generation, working to targets and securing deals. Ideally you will have experience selling partnership or sponsorship deals for events and an understanding of events. You should be proactive in generating leads, pitching and securing meetings and comfortable working to targets. A proven track record in hitting sales targets is essential.
