This established business works closely within the events industry representing a wide range of destinations and venues globally. With a brilliant reputation and strong portfolio of venues and destinations, they are at the forefront of the MICE and DMC industry with a supportive and collaborative culture.
We are now supporting this vibrant company with the recruitment of an Account Manager or Account Director who will work on a dedicated account. The role is varied and we are looking for a highly engaging candidate with a deep understanding of MICE and destination marketing as you will be representing a prestigious meetings & events destination. The role will include:
- Building relationships with agents as well as corporates directly
- Showcasing the destinations
- Arranging FAM trips and educational trips
- Collaborating with industry partners
- Attending global MICE trade shows
- Organising sales events
This role would suit a proactive Account Manager, Sales Manager or Account Director working in MICE, destinations or venues/hotels who is keen to drive forward their MICE career. The confidence to attend industry events and network with prospective event managers, as well as a super organised approach to following up prospects and leads will be key. This is an autonomous yet supported role where you will have the opportunity to work with some leading players in the events and MICE sector. We are looking for a proven track record in sales as well as account growth and an established network alongside an understanding of the events industry.
