Our Company:

Blanco Niño is a rapidly growing, award-winning, premium Mexican food brand known for exceptional quality, traditional cooking methods and its advocation of regenerative farming practices. The company’s mission is ‘To produce Mexican food products that make us proud and accelerate the transition to generative farming in the process’. The business sells a foodservice (B2B) offering across 19 European markets and the Middle East, and a retail (B2B + B2C) offering across 5 European markets. The major focus markets being UK and Ireland for the retail offering, with significant opportunity across the European continent for business expansion utilising the existing distribution network.

After a year of incredible progress, including launches into Co-op, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose, we’re continuing to expand our reach and impact.

Our Approach to Sales:

We believe great sales come from genuine relationships, built through warmth, passion, and mutual benefit. Partnership is at the centre of everything we do. We work hard for our customers, respond quickly to their needs, and bring positivity to every interaction. When challenges arise, we stay objective, open, and persistent — always looking for the solution. Challenges don’t throw us; they focus us. And through it all, we hold ourselves to high standards, because how we do things matters just as much as what we achieve.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager (Wholesale) who is motivated by building real partnerships. Someone who thrives in a high-growth environment but keeps their feet firmly on the ground. This is a pivotal role in the next stage of Blanco Niño’s growth, one focused on unlocking the full potential of our wholesale partnerships. As we move into 2026, our strategic priority is depth rather than breadth: strengthening and expanding the value we create within each relationship.

You’ll work closely with our wholesale partners to identify new ways to grow together, whether that’s through existing formats, new product development, or new opportunities across ambient and chilled categories. It’s about spotting untapped potential, developing authentic relationships based on a genuine appreciation for the quality of our products and our unique ways of working.

A key part of this role is also about looking beyond the wholesaler relationship and connecting with the foodservice and retail end customers who ultimately buy and use our products. Understanding their needs, their businesses, and how our products show up in their world will help us build stronger, more sustainable demand and ensure our brand continues to grow in the right way.

You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team — working alongside our Head of Sales and Grocery SNAM — collectively responsible for driving Blanco Niño’s ambitious growth plans. The role is based at our London head office, with regular travel to meet partners, visit sites, and strengthen those all-important relationships face to face.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Wholesale Account Management
  • Own and grow our wholesale relationships across foodservice and retail.
  • Deliver strong commercial performance, ensuring volume, revenue, and margin targets are met.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans that deepen partnerships and deliver sustainable growth.

Relationship Building & Field Engagement:

  • Be present with our partners — visiting wholesalers, foodservice customers, and retail outlets to build trust and visibility.
  • Develop relationships not only with wholesalers, but also with their key customers — the foodservice operators and retailers who buy and use our products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with marketing, operations, supply chain, and product development to bring strategies to life.
  • Work with operations to ensure exceptional service and product availability for wholesale partners.

Forecasting & Performance:

  • Own your sales forecast, trade spend and create a plan to exceed the agreed annual plan (volume, revenue, GP, GM%).
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to pinpoint opportunities and enhance performance. Provide actionable recommendations with a clear understanding of financial impacts.
  • Achieve and surpass agreed sales targets and KPIs.

Who You Are:

We’re being upfront: the right person for this role has as much to do with attitude as with experience. You might recognise yourself in these traits:

  • You have a natural people first approach — you win people over through integrity and passion.
  • You’re a go-getter, but not a bulldozer, someone who gets results through friendly collaboration and persistence.
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and take calculated risks.
  • You have a growth mindset and genuinely enjoy doing great.

Ideal Experience:

We’re looking for someone who knows what it’s like to build something from the ground up. You must have:

  • Experience in a high-growth challenger or startup FMCG brand, ideally in the food & drink space.
  • Proven success managing and growing relationships with foodservice wholesalers who sell unbranded products into foodservice operators (pub groups, venues, caterers, etc).
  • While some experience with branded propositions would be brilliant, you have experience with and understand the dynamics of selling a “brown box” or “unbranded” proposition and can navigate that world confidently.
  • A strategic commercial mindset, you can own a P&L, forecast accurately, and spot growth opportunities others might miss.

It would be a big plus if you also have:

  • Experience managing retail wholesale accounts (wholesalers who supply retailers and convenience chains).
  • Exposure to international wholesale or foodservice — many of our partners operate across borders.

Why Join Us:

At Blanco Niño, you’ll be part of a small, ambitious, and values-driven team making a real impact, not just in the food industry, but in the world of sustainable agriculture. This role gives you a high degree of autonomy to shape the future of our wholesale business while working with people who care deeply about doing things the right way.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary + performance bonus
  • Pension contribution
  • Generous product allowance (our chips are seriously tasty)
