Blanchette Soho, a vibrant French bistro in the heart of London, is seeking dedicated Waiters and Waitresses to join our passionate team. We pride ourselves on offering simple, classic, and inventive French cuisine, centered around a sharing concept that includes charcuterie, fine cheeses, and traditional dishes with our unique Blanchette twist. Our carefully selected drinks menu, featuring a variety of wines and classic cocktails, complements the buzzing and convivial atmosphere, curated with a bespoke soundtrack.
Founded by brothers Maxime, Malik, and Yannis, and named lovingly after their mother, Blanchette Soho brings together nearly 30 years of combined hospitality experience from top restaurants in London, New York, and Paris. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and contributing to our guest's memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure punctual arrival, impeccably dressed in appropriate attire, ready to begin service 10 minutes prior to scheduled rota time.
- Efficiently execute all setup duties, maintaining an immaculate dining environment, including pristine crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Collaborate professionally and seamlessly with all team members to ensure smooth and efficient service operations within established timeframes.
- Consistently deliver service excellence by adhering to our thirteen points of service with every customer, maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with the culinary team to ensure harmonious front and back-of-house coordination.
- Promptly report any operational issues, guest feedback, or concerns to the manager on duty.
- Accurately manage checkout procedures and cash handling, ensuring all transactions are correctly processed and verified by the manager.
- Adhere strictly to closing procedures and remain on duty until explicitly instructed to leave by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
