We are seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Assistant to support our Sales and Marketing Manager in delivering effective marketing initiatives and supporting business development activities across the firm. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their career in marketing and business development within a professional services environment. The successful candidate will assist with marketing campaigns, content creation, events, and client engagement activities while helping to ensure the firm’s brand and messaging are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Support
- Assist the Marketing Manager in planning and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Create and schedule social media content, including sponsorships campaigns and press content
- Support the production of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, and video content to name a few.
- Maintain and update the firm’s website
- Business Development & Sales Support
- Assist with lead generation and business development activities
- Support the preparation of proposals and presentations
- Maintain and update client and prospect databases/CRM systems including automated marketing campaigns.
- Write, design and schedule Email marketing campaigns
- Help track marketing performance and prepare reports and insights
- Events & Networking
- Assist in the organisation and promotion of client events, webinars, and networking opportunities
- Support event logistics including invitations, registrations, venue hire and follow-up communications and budgets
- Help coordinate partnerships and external collaborations e.g. external speakers.
- Content & Communications
- Assist with writing and editing marketing content, including articles, newsletters, and announcements as well as press and radio interviews.
- Support internal and external communications initiatives
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator), Capcut and Canva
- Previous experience in a marketing, sales, or business development support through education or work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience using social media platforms for a corporate company
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience in professional services or the legal sector
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and analytics
- Experience assisting with events or client engagement initiatives
