We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Site Manager to join our expanding construction team based within the south of England.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing, motivating and directing the site team with day to day tasks.
- Liaising with the clients Site Management team.
- Planning and coordinating site resources using programmes, drawings and site team meetings – plant labour and materials (alongside the Contracts Manager).
- Managing subcontractors.
- Ensuring all work is conducted safely including ensuring risk assessments and method statements are in place and adequate, operatives correctly briefed, plant and equipment available and ready to use.
- Inducting all visitors and workers onto the site.
- Completing project briefings, toolbox talks and site paperwork / returns.
Requirements
- Considerable experience of managing groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Excellent communication, people and team management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- CSCS Supervisors or Managers card (or substantial proven Site Management experience).
- Full UK Driving License.
