Blanchard Wells Limited are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Site Manager to join our expanding Construction team based within the South of England.

Responsibilities for the Site Manager role will include:

  • Overseeing, motivating and directing the site team with day to day tasks
  • Liaising with the clients Site Management team
  • Planning and coordinating site resources using programmes, drawings and site team meetings – plant labour and materials (alongside the Contracts Manager)
  • Managing subcontractors
  • Ensuring all work is conducted safely including ensuring risk assessments and method statements are in place and adequate, operatives correctly briefed, plant and equipment available and ready to use
  • Inducting all visitors and workers onto the site
  • Completing project briefings, toolbox talks and site paperwork / returns

The successful Site Manager will have:

  • Considerable Site Manager experience within groundworks and civil engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication, people and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • CSCS Supervisors or Managers card (or substantial proven Site Management experience)
  • Full UK Driving License
