Department: Commercial Join our dynamic Commercial team as a Commercial Executive. You will play a crucial role in achieving sales and profit targets by collaborating with the Senior Commercial Manager and cross-functional teams. Your focus will be on managing a specific customer portfolio, enhancing customer data management, and providing insights to drive decision-making. You will also take ownership of key administrative tasks and may manage specific projects within each customer account. Reporting Structure * Reports to: Senior Commercial Manager, Sainsbury’s & Lidl * Direct & Indirect Reports: None * Key Internal Stakeholders: Head of Commercial, Category Commercial Director, Commercial Managers, Business Development Manager * Key External Stakeholders: Customer contacts Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Sales: Manage a specified set of accounts while supporting ad hoc requests across the Commercial function. Enhance customer data management and provide insights to inform decision-making. Develop internal and customer reports focusing on market data and Retailer EPOS data. Assist Commercial Managers with promotional analysis and planning. Oversee key administrative tasks (e.g., price changes, promotional notifications). Support presentation development for customer meetings. Participate in product costing and margin analysis. Contribute to customer-specific initiatives and Joint Business Plans (JBP). Attend customer meetings and liaise with stakeholders as needed. Manage specific projects assigned by senior management. Forecasting: * Collaborate with Commercial Managers to ensure timely and accurate forecasting. * Input volume forecasts into relevant systems and provide recommendations. General: * Utilize commercial systems and processes, including Recipe Professor (Point 74) and Microsoft O365.
