An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Technologist to join a well-established food manufacturer based in Greater Manchester. This sits within a close-knit, collaborative technical team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing product trials, supporting production, and mentoring junior technologists, ensuring efficient delivery of products to major UK retailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage production trials across a range of products
  • Work hands-on in the factory on a daily basis
  • Support troubleshooting and problem-solving in production
  • Mentor and develop junior technologists within the team
  • Ensure smooth progression of products through the NPD gate process
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer timelines and expectations
  • Maintain strong communication with production and technical teams

Working Hours

Strong team culture with a “family feel” on site. Role requires flexibility due to the nature of food manufacturing. The business is keen to hire the right person, even if the process takes time.
