A growing food manufacturer is looking for a Packaging Technologist to join a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment supporting branded and own-label product ranges. This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership across packaging development, artwork, trials, sustainability projects, and retailer-facing activity.
The role will involve:
- Managing packaging projects from concept through to launch
- Supporting NPD launches, factory trials and packaging improvements
- Artwork coordination and approval processes
- Sustainability and packaging waste initiatives
- Working closely with Operations, Procurement, Commercial and Technical teams
- Supporting retailer specifications and packaging compliance activity
This would suit someone from:
- Packaging Technology
- NPD / Development with packaging ownership
- Specifications with artwork exposure
- FMCG or food manufacturing environments
Experience within chilled, protein, seafood or fast-paced FMCG manufacturing would be highly beneficial. The business is looking for someone commercially aware, organised, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once — not just a purely administrative packaging function.
